Wisdom book overviews
When studying The Good Life, we emphasized the importance of wisdom for living well in God’s world. Scripture is full of wisdom, with some books being mostly—if not entirely—dedicated to it. In order to help you read these books more effectively, we’ve put together overviews of each of them.
Each overview below includes a diagram of the structure of the book, as well as a short introduction to prepare you for reading the book.
Wisdom literature is something to be read and meditate over, but it can be easy to get lost in. The purpose of these overviews is to give you a “lay of the land” to help get you thinking in roughly the right direction, so that you can get the most out of these important books.
